At the moment, I'm working as a Software Engineer at Zendesk. It's a Ruby and Node/TypeScript, mostly backend job.
To get my regular front end fix, I participate in many cool extra-curricular activities at work, such as code club and book club, where I predominantly use TypeScript and React for the challenges.
Before getting into tech, I used to be a singing teacher by day and a hotel worker by night. I also did - and still do! - sing and play keys in an indie-hiphop band Renelophus.
I have always been passionate about technology, bringing positive change to the future, as well as increasing diversity and inclusivity in tech.
Free time is a luxury, but if I get some of it, I choose to hang out with my cat Borsch, watch TV shows or play games. When the weather is nice, I like to get out of town and hike.
